Backstreet Boys or N'SYNC?

Ages ago, they were probably the biggest two boybands on Earth - BSB and N'SYNC. Teen girls (a.k.a. my classmates and sometimes me) went gaga over them, buying CDs upon release and playing them over and over again. They wrote the bands' names on their favorite music space on each biodata book, and then there was this debate.. BSB or N'SYNC?

In a heartbeat I would say N'SYNC - I don't know why. I might be a minority because people love BSB so much, but I adore their music, I adore their dance moves and I like Justin Timberlake. Their songs are more upbeat than mellow (Bye Bye Bye and It's Gonna be Me are good dance songs), but their ballads are great too (This I Promise You).

However their vocals aren't so in sync - the other boys other than JC and Justin are merely back vocals. Meanwhile BSB utilizes every personnel's talent to the max. I like it that they all have personalities - AJ is wild, Brian is nice, Kevin is matured, Nick is boyish and Howie is eccentric. Lance, Joey and Chris seem like supporters instead of members.

God, I miss those boyband times. They're much better than Westlife (in my opinion), and their songs are pretty timeless. I was inspired to write this while my MP3 player shuffled upon 'I'll Never Stop' by N'SYNC on the way to work today. My favorite song!
