I finished the whole first season last night, before midnight :) it took me two days. At first I did not feel like watching the dorama, I thought it was going to be a cliched sort of series. But I was wrong, I'm glad they proved me wrong! A teacher with a yakuza background meets a handful of students with bad academical performance, bad attitude and scary appearances. Comedical scenes ensue, followed by touching stories involving families, friendships and love.
Like with Coffee Prince, I like every single character, from Minoru and Tetsu as Kumiko's yakuza friends, Yankumi the teacher, the teachers of the school, and the students (Sawada Shin - the quiet cool guy, Uchi - the hot tempered and high spirited student, Kuma - the big kind guy, Minami - the rejected playboy, and Noda - the stocky simple guy).Not forgetting the detective Shinohara-san.
Simply said, I will be looking for the second season soon :)
